2010 Empowerment Walk
And Wag-a-Thon

Healing Odyyssey Empowerment WalkHealing Odyssey’s 7th annual 5K Walk / Run and 1st annual Wag-a-Thon raises the majority of Healing Odyssey’s operating budget.  These funds are spent directly on programs and services for cancer survivors of all ages and backgrounds, changing lives by helping them fight the biggest battle they will ever face.  Healing Odyssey serves women with all forms of cancer and provides programs regardless of ability to pay. Donations can be  made at the walk for A Wish for Animals, a non-profit dog rescue and adoption organization.

Form a Team:

With 2 or more friends, family or co-workers.  Register your team online or call the office at 949-951-3930.  Make sure all your team members enter your team name when they register.  Prizes will be awarded for most money raised by a team, the largest team, and the most creative team.

Bring your dogs:

Walk your dogs in the Fun Walk.  Prizes will be given for best costume, best tricks, best owner look-alike, and dog who traveled the furthest.

Directions to the Empowerment Walk

The Walk will be held in Huntington Central Park near the Breakfast in the Park Restaurant off Edwards St.  The walk / run will start at the group picnic shelter.

From the Los Angeles area, take the 405 South to the Bolsa Ave West exit toward Golden West St.  Turn Left onto Westminster Mall.  Turn Right onto Golden West St.  Right onto Ellis, right onto Edwards, right at Central Park Drive.

From the Inland Empire, take the 91 toward the beach, merge onto the 55 S, then merge onto the 405 N.  Take the Warner Ave. exit toward Magnolia St. South.  Merge onto Warner Ave.  Turn left onto Golden West St., right onto Edwards, right at Central Park Drive.

From the San Diego area, Take the 405 N. to Warner Ave. West, exit toward Magnolia St. South.  Merge onto Warner Ave.  Turn left onto Golden West St., right onto Ellis, right onto Edwards, right at Central Park Drive.

From Pacific Coast Highway, turn North onto Seapoint Ave., right on Garfield, left on Edwards, right at Central Park Drive.
